What is required to be a member?
All that is required to be a member is that one says the daily prayers. If one decides to cease one’s association with the Auxilium Christianorum, one simply stops saying the prayers. There is no other requirement in order to be a member. Prior to becoming a member of the Auxilium Christianorum, the layman is strongly exhorted to consult his spiritual director or confessor.
Handbook
The Church on earth is the Church Militant. St. Paul teaches that our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers. Ephesians 6:12.
The Association prays for priests of the Auxilium Christianorum, and for the protection of those priests, the members, and their families and friends.
Before joining, consult a spiritual director or confessor. Seek to live in grace, to grow in prayer, to pray the Rosary daily, and to fulfill the Association’s vocal prayers. Increase devotion to Our Lady, Virgo Potens (Virgin Most Powerful), and to your Guardian Angel. When it is possible, keep statues of Our Lady and St. Michael, with a votive candle before them. None of these requirements binds under pain of sin.
With Ecclesiastical Approval. The Association’s 2012 handbook remains on their site.
Prayers for every day

R.Who made heaven and earth.
The Association’s opening Marian prayer is in the official handbook.
St. Michael
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
Guardian Angel
Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom God’s love commits me here, ever this day be at my side, to light and guard, to rule and guide. Amen.
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
